Would I Buy I Used Tesla Model S

I’ve got a used Tesla Model S to hoon around in. The question is, would I want to own a used Tesla Model S and how much do they cost on the used market?

Great video as always..thank you for sharing. I recently bought a 2015 Model S 90D from Tesla. I live in the US, so a little different background, but much still applies. It came with all the warranties you mention and Tesla service were fantastic when I asked for help on certain things. They came to my house and just did everything and more for free. Fantastic car with fantastic service in my experience.

Often considered similar dilemma with used luxury ICE ?ar. After much research the general consensus seems to be if you can't afford it new, you can't afford it used. I have since transitioned to EV and feel the same logic applies. Looks like I have to wait for base model 3 LHD. ?

No other car in the world is as good as a Tesla? I'll sell you my 2013 LTZ Impala with leather for $10,000. 75,000 miles and runs beautiful Is the Tesla worth 4 times that price just to say I own a Tesla? Nothing is forever!

Getting an Electric capable of traveling (in the USA) is the gold here. Yes I would like to get one under warranty and for no more than $45K when we are in a position to do so in 2 years. By that time possibly some used Model 3's will be on the market.

    Hi,
I would not dare to buy a Tesla. I would want to lease it. Tesla as a company is like a rollercoaster. That's how they address warranty issues too. This is what I see at Tesla Bjorn. I hear this in holland too; chicanes in warranty issues.

They provide a model S for your to review and you mention them as a curtsey. How is that not sponsorship? Regardless, you have to mention it to adhere to EU rules on advertising, so you're doing it right.

TESLA'S ARE VERY EXPENISVE EVEN USED ONES THAT I HAVE SEEN ON LINE AND ALL OVER,.  I WOULD RATHER GET NEW MODEL 3 FOR ABOUT SAME PRICE AS USED MODEL S THAT BASICALLY HAS NO WARRANTY , EXPECT FOR BATERRY ONLY.

My next car will be an EV, probably a Tesla, hopefully model s, but that should be in 10 years or more. By then, hopefully they will go for less and be even better. In the meantime, I keep fixing the car I have and be patient. Just don't buy a new gas car, that would be a mistake from now on.

i have a 2014 model S 85. Best car i've ever bought hands down. Charging infostructure which is free to me and whoever i sell my car to is a massive plus. Only when the charging infostructure is as good for nonTesla's will ev ownership start to really rocked.

It's a lot of money, but if you are on the edge: Justify an S85 to your wife using the "It's a great camper van" argument. You can save a huge amount on your tour of Europe: No hotel bills, no fuel bills!! (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILcI8usL6Sc). Aircon works over night.

I encourage you to look at the full life cashflows, not only the monthly payments: Depreciation figures for luxury cars are very high, but for Teslas are generally much lower than the luxury car average. Why not buy a used vehicle with the extended service agreement?

I've had my S85 for a year without warranty, and had only a relatively minor bill to pay (a replacement door handle). My wife and I are happier with the car than we had anticipated, it's been awesome.

I might consider a brand new Zoe or a 60kWh Leaf but never any Leaf that did not have good battery thermal management (which is all of the Leafs at the moment) perhaps an electric Hyundai if I did not already have a 2015 Model S 70D Tesla. The turning circle is not that good, not the best visibility from the driver's seat and is generally too big for some of the roads and multi-storey car parks around here. It was ridiculously expensive. I love that car.
