WeMo Smart Plug Flaw
Megan Morrone and Florence Ion discuss the recent vulnerability that McAfee discovered in the WeMo smart plugs that we’ve recommended. The WeMo plugs (by Belkin) could allow a hacker to compromise entire networks with an unreported buffer overflow. McAfee says they reported the flaw to Belkin in May and Belkin says they’re working with McAfee to release a firmware update later this month. Megan adds that plugs are only insecure if you control them through the WeMo app and not if you control them through HomeKit.

YOu need to add Closed Caption to your videos – you do not speak as clear as you think you do.
Samsung couldn't make a AI speaker if it wanted to. As far as these remote items everyone knew they would be insecure, and no one cared.
