I have been repairing Electronics Professionally since I was 18-19….I am now 56. Doing the Screw thing ……"not recommended", bending the board "not recommended". Bending the board slightly so the problem can be found "sure"….slightly …like a millimeter or so.

I have three old TVs. They're from the late 80's to early 90's. One has a
bad picture as far as color. Another shows a flat, squeezed looking
picture. The third TV's power doesn't work. It may need a fuse. Anyway,
I'm considering throwing them away instead of getting them fixed. My
question is do any of these old TVs have any valuable replacement parts
inside them that would sell on ebay?

Mate I did this and my TV popped and now wont turn on. I think you’ve killed it. I have a LG37h3000 and there are random white lines going vertically and they move across the screen
