    He needs a permit from the FAA to fly over a stadium like that. That drone is also large enough that it must by law be registered with the FAA, so the umps totally can call them and report the activity.

    Additionally, models like that only have a battery life of around 15 minutes. If it spent 8 of those minutes at the stadium, that means the pilot must have been close by.

    Oh, and we can further bust the pilot because they must maintain Visual Line Of Sight (VLOS) with the drone unless they have a waiver from the FAA.

    Don’t worry the owner will post something on Facebook or some kind of video footage on Instagram or YouTube or something and you’ll find out who did it because people who do dumb shit like this are stupid. And this is why the FAA wants to control drones. Stupid people like this that do shit like this make it worse for everybody else it tries to enjoy a hobby
