You know the animals that represent Japan are the koi fish and the capybara when you open the equip menu in splatoon 2 (maybe splatoon 1) you can hear something about a capybara it might be just me but you could have a look if you want

i got splatoon for the wii u but i couldn’t play online because i didn’t have a nintendo account thingy so i just played story mode but luckily my dad made me one when splatoon 2 came out and also got me the game and he bought me octo expansion for my birthday 🙂
