openHAB Projects | Installing Panel Power Meter | Aeon DSB09 Zwave Home Energy Meter



Installing a Z-Wave Aeon DSB09 Panel Power meter into a subpanel, to bring the information into my openHAB system. I’ll show how I mounted the Zwave transmitter, and installed the CTs in the sub panel. I also show how I added the meter to my Z-wave mesh network and how I added the things and items to my openHAB configuration and sitemaps.

NOTE: This is NOT an electrical how-to video!! I do NOT recommend doing this on a live panel, due to the danger of touching a live electrical wire and potentially hurting/killing yourself! If you do not feel comfortable performing this work, PLEASE hire an electrician for that portion of the installation.
