Have you thought about getting the hell away from a company that wants you to pay outrageous prices for everything and yet still thinks it is their equipment even long after you have paid for it in full? Seriously, I don't understand why people want to pay more for hardware that is 2 x what it would cost you to build a system, or have one built, that is 1/2 the price with twice the performance? If you want the mac UI then use Linux and stop over paying for everything! I have zero fucks to give for sympathy for any moron that buys a mac and gets hammered with sticker shock when it is time to service the steaming pile of dog **!! SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A DELL ANIENWARE! Alienware is overpriced too, but they don't try to tell you what you can and can't have on YOUR SYSTEM! ROTFLMAO You paid like $1200 for a 60hz monitor and found out the grass is brown as the pile of sh you bought. A monitor that would be better wouldn't cost but maybe 1/2, or less, of that!

Can someone who experienced using a monitor like that tell me if a 13 inch Macbook pro 2017 gets too hot when connecting to this type of monitor? I currently have an LG monitor connected via HDMI with Apple Adapter, but it gets uncomfortably hot while in normal use!

HI there, I just set my LG MD5KL monitor up. Photos look great on my monitor, then I worked on a new photo in LR on the Monitor…when I saved it and viewed the photo on my Mac it looks NOTHING LIKE the photo did on my monitor while in LR. So I am confused as to which color version is accurate. Is there a way to calibrate the Monitor to the Mac? Thanks!

This is the conclusion I am coming to. I like the portability of a 14" HP lightweight laptop. Also like screen real estate of old Sony Vaio 16.4" with weight of a brick. So moving forward – laptop with External 4k or 5k display 👍

Hey there! My macbook pro 13 2019 that is connected to the dell u2520d is very hot when working, for example in photoshop, are there any problems with yours?

One of the reasons people consider large monitors is more screen space. It would have been nice to show a test with two browser windows open side-by-side, to see how much content can be displayed in each window.

I bought this monitor from apple canada. After one month screen started flickering and shaking. It is a very unstable expensive piece. I have to admit it is the best monitor in terms of colour , contrast, brightness. But the chance you get a faulty one is 90%. LG customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with. It took me hours and hours on the phone with them and 3 months to get them to take back the monitor to fix it. I feel very sad I spent all this money on this monitor.

I use LG UltraFine 5K display around18 months, one day, there are a lot of ghost image and burn in, just stay for 5 seconds, the image will burn in, and it will take a long time to get lost. I asked for LG . Someone came to follow up, and after seeing the ghost image and called back to the company. The Engineering said " normal". I don’t accept and continue to ask LG, The Engineering only responded to "normal" without explaining any reasons and improvement methods.
The LG UltraFine 5K display in the Apple Store has a same image problem.

Owned it, sent it for repair several times over several months, sold it.

Screen that's been riddled with issues from day one and customer support is one of the worst I've experienced.

    Avoid like the plague.

How does this compare to the Dell u3219q that just recently released? I know the advantages on paper are the Dell is a 32 inch monitor so it's bigger, but the Ultrafine is a 5k Monitor where as the Dell is a 4K. I'm using it for my 2017 Macbook Pro and I might use it for my MacMini. Is the UltraFine LG monitor the same today as it was when it released 2 years ago?

Suscribed 😀 Question, what would be the best 27 inch monitor for a Macbook Pro 15 inch (mid 2014) 2,2 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB or should I just sell it and buy an iMac?
