in the latest WEBOS and newer version, find in the Setting (Press button Setting in the remote control) go to Connection and Mobile Connection Management then delete the Screen Share History.

after delete in the TV, you might need also delete device history in your laptop or pc, i'm using Win 10 . To remove the device, open Settings , and then select Devices > Bluetooth & other devices . Select the wireless display, adapter, or dock, then select Remove device. After that, try reconnecting.

It worked in my LG Nano 2021

If you have WPS turned ON in your Modem/Router, then this is the problem. Turning it off solved my problems with screen share. EDIT: WPS only solved for one time only.. Something else is the problem I think.

My problem is that the screen share icon is not showing on the menu. My TV is using webOS 5.0 and is the latest LG model (50UN8000PSD).
I have tried looking for the app in LG store but it also doesn't show there.
    What do I do?

Wow @suiteums – I've tried numerous times getting this to work. I don't have a "screen" button on the keyboard.
But it actually was solved by simply using Window-P ("Presentation display mode") instead of Windows+K ("Connect quick action") which I had been taught to do 🙂
