I am intrigued by your report of Stringifyโ€™s consistent performance, as IFTTT has been hit or miss for me, as well as being SLOW to respond (such as motion detection triggering a light). So I downloaded Stringify only to learn that my smart devices (WyzeCam Pan and WeMo smart smart switches and plugs) do not play with Stringify. Bummer! Any other options other than IFTTT that plays well with my smart devices? I find your videos informative, easy to understand, and cover the concerns that I generally have. Thanks for any help!

With Google Home and Amazon Echos combined with IFTTT, would you say smart home hubs such as SmartThings are not necessary (for a simple smart home containing only smart lights, a nest thermostat, and SimpliSafe)? I'm confused on the need for SmartThings when there's IFTTT and voice assistants.

Does the Stringify app need to be installed (and your mobile phone running 100% of the time) for it to work? Or does all the action happen in the cloud once flows are setup?

I moved from a personal to a brand account on YouTube. In doing so, I lost the hundreds of comments Iโ€™ve made since early 2016. I apologize that all the data was lost, but we can start again. Let me know if you have a question, even if itโ€™s a repeat!
