I headed to the shop to get the 20Pro but ended up with a 20X. The 20Pro was simply too underwhelming when it comes to screen size – its even smaller than the 20! (although I like the curved higher resolution screen). But no regrets on getting the 20X as I use my HP mainly for surfing web and watching videos and the big screen is really a bonus. To top it off, it has the same stellar Leica camera lenses as the 20Pro which was another huge plus! Strangely, the 20X cost more than the 20Pro in my country (Asia)!

JWill, I'm a long time follower and love your videos. Are you concerned about the recent changes against Huawei and the phone's security? I'm also thinking of picking up this phone. Please share your thoughts.

I have been using a Nexus 6 for the past 4 years and it still works but I'm looking for a replacement . I like 16.9 ratio , I have big hands and don't get the skinny displays . However this phones specs say it's a little wider than my N6 so it may be my next phone , nice display , stereo speakers and will work on cricket wireless .
Do you think this would be a good replacement for the N6 ? Thank you for the review , helps me make up my mind .👍👍

I had both the Mate 20 and the Mate 20x. I used them both for a couple of weeks and ended up keeping the Mate 20x. The vanilla Mate 20 was actually a lot better in my opinion.

Watching on my Mate 20X. I love this phone, I also have the Note 9 and they are both my daily driver. But I have to say I enjoy the cameras and screen more on the Mate 20 X. Watching videos on this phone is great. Also the battery life it's amazing on this phone. Needless to say I am part of the Mate 20 X and Note 9 club. 😊
