Huawei Mate 20 Pro | 72 Hours Review

After using Huawei’s mighty Mate 20 Pro as my full-time phone for 3 days, I’m already enamored. From the gorgeous design to that upgraded tri-lens camera tech, the slick performance to the dependable battery life, there’s loads to love about the Mate 20 Pro – and here’s my early review, so you know how I’m getting on.

The Huawei Mate 20 Pro boasts strong specs, and while it certainly won’t have a low UK price tag, it’s both innovative and highly desirable. With Xperia XZ3 style and those Huawei EMUI 9 smarts, the Mate 20 Pro impresses on so many levels.

Check out my unboxing of this mighty mobile over on Recombu and you can also see my camera review over there now. Stay tuned for an in-depth review of the Mate 20 Pro, while you can also see how it compares to Huawei’s P20 Pro and the Pixel 3 XL here on Tech Spurt.

I went for S9+ instead for a few reasons: headphone jack, AKG earphones and the fact that, for some retarded reason, Huawei still puts speakers inside the goddamn USB slot. Oh and it's cheaper. Now I'm not hating on the Mate 20 Pro, if the S9+ didn't exist that's the one I'd go for.

my only issues are that voice recognition to unlock the phone goes dodgy and doesnt work and also i couldnt change spotify songs from the lockscreen so ive had to take off the fingerprint and face recognition and now it sometimes lets me see the banner… also notifications dont seem to pop up for my email ? other than that i am loving it, just need a decent case as its a bit sleek and slippery in my hand
