LOL😂 I literally discovered you by accident — just like my drone crashes. I fly my cheap drones to hone my skills. Just bought a DJI MP and I’ll follow your advice and hopefully keep it from crashing into a tree. Love your drone videos😎👍

    This is a great video!
I've recently gotten into flying multi-rotors and have been doing very similar exercises trying to train myself to perform basic skills without having to think about it. This is a very well thought out and methodical system to help newbies and experienced guys alike build their basic skill sets. Practicing fundamentals in NEVER a bad thing.

By any chance, are you in Fiji? At the Double Tree Resort, to be precise? I think I saw you at the beach yesterday, with your drone of course…. unless am mistaking you with someone else…

Thanks for the vid! I agree with learning to fly a toy first but dont expect them to last very long even if you dont crash them. I also practiced in my den and it helped me to be more precise in learning the controls. Eachine E58 is a tiny clone of the Mavic which is a good stair-step up from the toy. Problem is it does not do well in the wind – too light.
There are tons of good drones in the $150-250 range. Check out the vids (like Best drones of 2019 under $400, etc)

I doubt that you'll probably ever see this comment but just in case… I was wondering if you would suggest for someone new to flying drones that they should buy a real cheap one first to practice with or just get the one they intend to use and be very careful in the beginning.

If you would recommend a cheap trainer drone is there such a thing under $100 and which one(s)?
    Thank you!

That was really useful although I have to laugh about the "burn through a couple of batteries" stament. On the cheap drone I have that's about 18 minutes. Pathetic. (batteries, that is). Great tutorial though.

You are outstanding in teaching others and you have my gratitude for being so calm. You can't learn anything when someone is yelling and making you feel stupid. I am so calm flying that If I get stressed about anything I break out the drone and in 12 minutes I am stress free. Thanks

I been flying for a little while now and I have to say this is without a doubt the best learning video. He stays calm and explains in basic terms and not a bunch of fancy drone nerd slang terms. I like to fly my drone towards myself saying I lost connection and pretending that it's after me.My friends fall for it every time. Lol
