How I automated my aquarium, and how YOU can too! (using sonoff and HomeAssistant)

Always wanted to automate your aquarium, or any other appliance in your house? Well this is my solution and I’m in love with it!

A combination of Sonoff devices, DIY temperature sensors and some custom logic combined with other power devices allow for a fully automated set-up.

    Nice setup 🙂
I am curious as to why you have your filter setup via HA?
I control my aquarium lights via HA and plan to put my heater in HA too, as an extra safety precaution, if the heater should ever get stuck on ON.
Another benefit to this is to have HA send me a message if something fishy is going on with the temperature in my fish tanks.
