The PlayStation Vita has been forgotten about by Sony, but there is still a section of fans who really enjoy the last handheld made under the PlayStation brand. Today I wanted to look inside the system and show why it is still an impressive handheld device even today.

the oled screen is great, didn't need to be touch… didn't need the back touch pad(s), camera, motion controls, mic, 3G/AT&T,… The two analog sticks are an awesome addition from a single AS on the PSP (but they aren't clickable – L3/R3, or are they? Not sure, probably not)… The prop. memory card instead of a SD card is the worst thing about it… Without the extra fluff, this could've been it (a switch before switch – if it connected to a TV, that is)

I bought PS-vita in march 2012 and I still remember not having a smartphone that time and no laptop this was my all around device used it for browsing web, watching and downloading files with my 16gb storage, skype, camera, youtube, Listening to Music, watching downloaded Movies in torrent, and playing games using it for wifi and 3g, and GPS then decided to buy a smartphone in 2015 my 1st smartphone xperia z1 and bought a laptop that is the time when I sold my Phat PS-vita because games in android are free compare to games in PS-vita and no exclusive games aside from uncharted, and gravity rush most games was psp games and other emulators, indies and remake and Semi PS3-Ps-vita and remote play most exclusives was JRPG games. I miss my ps-vita and it was ahead of its time when it was released.

I retired my Vita recently for a Switch. Very sad day as the Vita had some pretty neat games like Soul Sacrifice, Oreshika Tainted Bloodlines, Spelunky, Don't Starve, FFX and FFX-2, Persona 4 Golden, a portable Marvel vs. Capcom 3. If only Sony wasn't so boneheaded with the $100 memory cards…

    Also a fucking OLED screen…

Hold on, the ps vita is a running a 960p display but the switch is running a 720p display (yes I know 1080p but only when hooked up to the dock) so the vita has a higher resolution display on the go right?

    Or am I tripping?

Picked one up (I know I’m late) and played Killzone: Mercenary. I cannot believe this system is 10 years old, the graphics of this game surprised me and you’re right it’s the best looking game on the vita and looks better than most switch games.

they made so many good decisions with this machine but the bad decisions they made on the vita were so bad that it almost killed anything positive about it
