Dual Partitioning a hard drive for your Nintendo Wii

Setting up 2 partitions on a hard drive to be able to play Wii and Gamecube games from the same device. Pretty easy to do, had a request to do this video so here we are. Videos over adding games or located on my channel. Enjoyyy!

Okay so I have partitioned my hdd exactly like this and my wii games work but GC games do not. I read somewhere that DIOS MIOS only searches for games in the PRIMARY section of the hdd. So does this mean that this is the wrong way around and the Gamecube partition should be created first? I have had it working before but somebody wiped my hdd and I couldnt remember how I did it as it was a long time ago.

will this work on the wii U as well? I have Wii U games on the sd card and want to get wii/gamecube/retro roms on the external hard drive but I am wondering if the drive needs to be partitioned for this? Help!! 🙂

I have a 1TB Drive and want to use it for Wii, Gamecube, SNES, and NES games. Do I need to make separate partitions for Gamecube and NES/SNES? Also, will Nintendont/FCEUltra/SNES9x/USBLoader have any issue accessing the HDD?
