Driving the new Nissan Leaf from London to Amsterdam… on a single charge!
For our latest adventure with Flat-Out and Vice Media’s Amuse travel website, we hopped in the newest Nissan Leaf and attempted the journey from London to Amsterdam on a single charge of the battery packs. The weather conspired against us, but you can see what happened by watching the clip.
Can you put some numbers around here? Distance , consumption?
When i measure the consumption of my Leaf , it's higher than what the car says , the car doesnt take charging losses into acount. Differance is about 20% (car says 18kw/100km , electricity meter says 22kw/100km)
Maybe a breeze driving over there but it’s absolutely appalling in the UK with a myriad of Tom, Dick & Harry charge points sparsely populating the country. Nil standardisation of payment methods, umpteen charge cards required.
