Osmo Pocket Extension Rod:
Osmo Pocket Waterproof Case:
DJI has just released 2 new accessories for the Osmo Pocket. They introduced an extension rod and waterproof housing. In this video, we are taking a closer look at the extension rod for the Osmo Pocket. This extension rod has built-in buttons that allow you to control your Osmo Pocket when used in conjunction with the wireless module or even when it is plugged in with a physical cable. There is a built-in phone mount so you can get a nice view of what you’re filming if you wish. As an added bonus there is a cold shoe built into the side of the unit which makes adding a microphone or small light easy. Stay tuned as we will be reviewing the waterproof case for the Osmo Pocket next.

I just prescribed to your channel, so I'd appreciate it if you'd reply to this question. I intend to buy a DJI Osmo Pocket, and I will buy this camera stick, but can I mount both a light and a microphone on this setup? I'm pretty much a 'dummie' with this tech stuff so please speak in English in your reply. Thank you.

I have the DJI Pocket 2 and I'm a big fan of this controller. I get good shots and more control and smoothness using the extension rod. I got it as a gift but would have invested in it myself because I like the way it operates

Just received my DJI extension rod. Again, I rather dislike the "instructions" that come with the item. So, as I did last time when I received my Osmo Pocket, I viewed the video by Air Photography and was led through the usage and what-not of the equipment. Thank you for posting these helpful videos.

It’s a shame that you cant use a mic or light in the cold shoe if you have your phone plugged into the Osmo, sort of defeats the object as you would need the mic if recording, especially outside.
