My new friend Tony seems like a great guy and I really appreciate him making this flight and providing me with the footage, not only from the drone, but also from his phone. This was shot on a DJI Mavic Mini @ 2.7K 30FPS.

I'm sorry but its illegal to fly above 400 feet in Canada. You have to follow all rules that also are valid for heavier aircraft. The only deviation for drones weighing less than 250 grams is, that you don't have to register them.
To keep yourself and others safe, fly your drone:
where you can see it at all time.
below 122 metres (400 feet) in the air
away from bystanders, at a minimum horizontal distance of 30 metres for basic operations
away from emergency operations and advertised events
Avoid forest fires, outdoor concerts and parades
    away from airports and heliports
5.6 kilometres (3 nautical miles) from airports
1.9 kilometres (1 nautical mile) from heliports
outside controlled airspace (for basic operations only)
    far away from other aircraft
Don’t fly anywhere near airplanes, helicopters and other drones
Btw. You can make epic footage filming at a maximum height of 400 feet. It's not interesting constantly viewing things from high in the air. Try to go lower… you'll enjoy it!!!

I met Tony in Frankfurt at an Oktoberfest eating a bratwurst and sauerkraut right before taking his drone up to 500m. He had just came from getting his COVID Vaccination. He said he didn’t have an extra SD Card.
