Lovely review Justin…..well done….down to earth and filming the land speed record next weekend with the goggs. and cine cams….I enjoyed your review…I like your style….its grounded and to the point….its what people want…..well done you mate….good channel too….diggin it….best wishes from uk …….a little idea for ya……what ive truly leant from shooting in factories and uncomfortable locations is without the goggles and say just. big iPad monitor is you can never get the true depth of field and a genuine scope of how close you are hovering before and object…if you can do a feed or record you could do a vid showing how the goggles professionally allow you to get a grip on how close you can fly beside an object say for doing an engineering shoot on a tower or building……just a thought ….your work is good ….Al

you could absolutely can use these for FPV racing… you just need a base station with HDMI output, then run the HDMI output to the DJI goggles. Not sure how good it would be, although on paper it should be excellent.

I could not wieght to get my dji goggles with my mavic and they have done nothing but let me down,to get the gimble to do the head tracking thing you have do dig through about 10 steps in the menu the finger pad does not work well so you have to keep fixing the steps,it is heavy as hell my neck is killing me after about fifteen minutes, the battery gets hot and burns your forhead after a few minutes and does not last for 6 hour I get about 2 tops. its just hugely over priced and no way it is worth it I have yet to get the gimble to work in flight,to me they are so greedy of a company their stuff is not even fun because you are afraid of sctatching it especially when you pay so much and it does not work.Booo dji. Drone Camps rc is a great podcast thanks for you honesty you are the best in the business by far sorry to gripe I had to vent, bad case of buyers regrett..

There's no 120fps setting on the DJI Goggles btw. The DJI specs you quote on @RCSchim's comment are wrong.
The 3 available resolutions for the DJI Gogs are 720@30p 720@60p & 1080@30p

Good informative video done very well. Before you buy take a look at trhe Epson Moverio BT300 glasses. The image from the drone is much clearer and you have full view of the drone as well so no breaking flying rules. Bit more expensive though ;-(

Did no one say anything about not getting your flight logs …..if i knew that i don't think i would have got them just yet….sure you can upload to dji but you can't see them 🙁

Well, not a whole lot of anything I haven't heard. Great reviews from just about every YT video and even the Best Buy consumers. I just bought the Mavic Pro Platinum fly more package. I just ordered these yesterday and they'll be here on the 11th. I live in Houston Texas and I can't believe I can't find them locally. Don't matter anyhow because it's been fucking raining all week. The main reason for getting these, so I can ditch my mobile phone and use these to fly my drone and get a better view. After I try these out I'll probably be getting the Moverio BT-300FPV Smart Glasses so I can use those and have my girlfriend use the DJI goggles. Thumbs on the review by the way!

BIG QUESTION about Googles. Do they make you sick like VR games? My friend has HTC Vive and just after three minutes I was sick for entire day. My head was spinning like a turbine. So will these googles make the same effect?

Thanks you answered a question right up front, Drone Compatibly. I feel like when i pay that much for something i don't want to be stuck to using it with just one device.
