Using the best Micro SD cards is a necessity when shooting 4K video or RAW photos in burst mode with the DJI Osmo Pocket and DJI Mavic 2 drone. If you don’t use memory cards with a fast enough write speed, then your footage could be choppy, slow down, or the device could stop recording. People have also dealt with overheating issues when using a memory card that does not transfer data fast enough.

This is why I recommend a Micro SD card that has a write speed of at least 90MB/s. Another indicator that you have a good memory card for the DJI Osmo Pocket and Mavic 2 is that the Micro SD card has a grade of 3 and says “V30” on the card. I would highly recommend using SanDisk Extreme micro sd cards since they are fast, reliable, and work in extreme temperatures. I would also recommend that you get a 128GB Micro SD card because you will be able to use this memory card in both your Osmo Pocket and Mavic 2.

Megabits (Mb) and megabytes (MB) sound identical, and their abbreviations use the exact same letters, but they certainly don't mean the same thing. So you are wrong. Osmo writes with 100 Mb/s – That is Megabits not megabytes that is only 12.5 Megabyte per second.
So you need any card that writes higher than 12.5 Megabyte per second, that are classes – 3, V30, V60 and V90.
Proof you can find in DJI in Osmo Pocket FAQ:
10.What microSD card is recommended for Osmo Pocket?

It’s recommended to use a microSD card with a write speed of over 15MB/s.

Thanks for explaining this! I have both the mavic air and osmo pocket and have always wondered if the cards I have were fast enough. I live in CT too just completely on the other side of the state near RI.
