This is miles ahead of Tesla! Sure the Model X has more range, I'll give them that. But Audi has a more conventional look that doesn't look as polarizing as Tesla's design language. They also have some of the best luxury money can buy (before getting to Rolls-Royce, of course.) Tesla may have the Autopilot and huge screen and fast acceleration but I'll trade all of that for a car with better build quality and reliability any day!

I test drove the Tesla model S. Told the salesperson I’d “think about”. Meh. Drove straight away to Audi and ordered my Prestige eTron. Have had it for a month and very happy with it. I prefer Audi over Tesla any day 👍🏻. Much more COMFORTABLE than Tesla.

Great SUV, Quality Overall= 9 / Interiors Design= 6….but that software it feels and looks like Android 4.0, I prefer the Tesla simplicity and it's software, really feels like a IOS

Thanks for the review, but sorry to rain on the parade. This is now where close to being a "worst nightmare" for Tesla. That said, I am glad to finally see the legacy auto manufacturers start to jump on the EV band wagon. This is exactly what Elon Musk wanted all along. That is good for everyone.

You know what I would love to know. If your washing your Etron, and you have the key in your pocket, does the charge port open and close when it gets wet? I have keys with keyless entry, and the doors lock and unlock all the time when I'm washing it with the wand wash. If the power port were to open, you could get lots of water and more grim in it. This might worry me…. BTW I do in fact have on on order, drove last week, but never thought to check this, they only have you 30 min with the car as they had a good deal of people to drive it and it was in town only for 2 days.

More like Toyota and Honda's worst nightmare. EVs are taking market share from gas car producers. To pit EVs against each other is incorrect when the segment is growing at over 60% per year. There's plenty of demand to go around.

Awesome review, the best review so far.
You review cars better than 99% of the so called "professional reviewers".
If you could display metric units alongside imperial when there are captions it would be perfect.

Great review! I don't understand why can't some car manufacturer make a regular electric car which is comfortable, gets us from point A to point B with 200 to 300 miles on a single charge with zero complexity. With all those luxury and branding these cars are beyond the reach for an average guy.

A cohesive look, eh. Just as boring looking as the rest of the lineup. The Rivian pickup has more forward thinking design than this copy of any other Audi CUV. Just because it is a foreign and expensive nameplate doesn't make it superior.

Still no Full functioning HD LED Matrix headlights in US yet?? No Parking Pilot? No digital side mirrors? It’s sad how US loses a lot of features compared to EU models.

Hmm, no real mention of the anemic range or the charging experience. How would the e-tron work for road trips and how does it compare overall to a Q7 for existing Audi SUV owners looking to go electric?

  12. YouGotAnyGrapes

On 95kwh E-tron can only go 200 miles…Model S can go 370 miles on 100Kwh. How embarrassing Audi! $999 for 4 service center trips LOL! How about free 24/7 Mobile service for your Tesla? This car is going to break like every other Audi and car….Tesla's don't break. Waste of money! You can buy TWO Model 3's for the price of this thing hahahaha

The Nightmare is Audi E-tron has the Worst Efficiency of any EV! Audi has the worst range even with 95 kwatt hr battery (204 miles). The title of this video is bizzaro F***up, New Title: " 2019 Audi e-tron: FULL REVIEW + DRIVE | A Range Anxiety Nightmare if you buy this turd(if you don't Buy Model X)!".

Tesla fangirls will say the etron doesn't have the range of a tesla. nobody does over 100 miles in an average day. plus i would rather have a better built car that goes 200 miles than a car that is poorly made and goes 300 miles. it's a no brainer!
