New Leaf e+ with a 62 kWh battery and a total driving range of 363 km (225 miles). The electric motor is stronger as well – 217hp & 258lb/ft.

All before a certain brand that long hyped its "affordable" mass market EV even delivers on its price promise.

I believe that the rebate have been reduced. Rebates have a per manufacturer limit. Used Chevy Bolts are less expensive and the Kona electric starts at 36k with almost twice the EV range at 258 miles.

In order for these to sell, discounts would have to be near 40-50 percent off.
