During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I test drove one of these today (wasn't planning on it; went to test drive a fusion hybrid but saw this there, too). I was blown away. The Prius has this beat in only one place: rear cargo area access and volume. The Volt's is ample, but the Prius is a barn. The torque of the Prius makes it drive like a corolla, while the torque of the Volt makes it drive like…a faster Corolla. Very nice for real world driving, I loved it. I didn't see that coming and my Kia Niro dreams may have just been put on the back burner.

The materials used in the first generation Volt's upper doors and dash feel higher quality than in the new Volt. The first generation Volt used padding, whereas the second generation Volt is solid plastic.

I can only imagine what awful things you had to do to the Volt in order to get the engine to run. It’s not a pretty sound and it’s the primary reason I try to keep the battery charged as much as possible. Good video.

At 3.26 you mention the drive has a CVT transmission. As far as I know the drive is direct without a transmission at all. Good review. I myself own a 2013 volt. I live in the Netherlands and only a 1000 were sold here. And GM has left Europe altogether. It is sad that we cannot buy the volt anymore in Europe. My Volt drives perfectly.

Great video, and a really nice car! But, i was wondering if you could try and find a Chevrolet Bolt EV to review. I'm a big supporter of EVs and plug-in hybrids like the Volt. Would be nice if you could review some more Electric Vehicles like the Mercedes B-class electric, the newer generation Nissan Leaf, the Ford Focus electric and Fusion Energi. You seriously make the best car reviews on YouTube, and i would love it if you could do some more green vehicles. #EV4life

Great video!!! Such high quality and no shaky camera! Chevy volt is my dream car and I love watching car tours of it! This is the best one I've seen yet!! Thank you so much!

Some good research, and a generally good script. However . . . the Volt does NOT have a continuously variable automatic transmission (3:26);.you mischaracterize the function of Mountain Mode (5:05); top speed limited to 98 ?? (12:47) The info I saw from GM said 101; back seat center hump – battery, yes, running gear and "all that kind of stuff" (22:45), no. It's FWD. Please have someone knowledgeable proof your scripts for obvious errors of this sort before recording your sound track. A 25 minute 'in depth' car review video should inform, not misinform.

Much improved camerawork and editing from previous years' videos. Two points you missed: automatic emergency braking is optional and the car can park itself. Otherwise, a very thorough review. It is indeed a fantastic car.

I test drove one with a mind to grab a sweet lease deal. The engine came on within 5 seconds of driving and pretty much killed the deal for me. Not sure why the dealer didn't disable it (with 50% charge) or was the car just struggling with 3 people and AC? I was thinking what? This thing is just a Prius and not an electric.
