Hi! Can anyone possibly help me? I got a 3DS from GameStop around 2 years ago (first day/night sun and moon were released) and now it has suddenly stopped working. I have tried all outlets in my house to charge it and I am getting no light and I have tried multiple chargers. I haven’t used this DS for over a year 1/2 (estimates time) and during the time of no use I have kept it in a drawer so I don’t know what happened. I’m not good with fixing things but I just want an answer. Thanks!

So.. you got a working New Nintendo 3DS Xl for $10 and a screen replacement?
Wow… I should really think about trying that.
But IK you were just lucky the console only had the screen smashed. There could've been LOTSA damage on the inside.

I was hoping you'd do a video about how you got started in refurbishing and what a beginner should do and buy to get started in refurbishing ?
Thanks for all the awesome content Elliot.

Hi there Elliot, Thanks for all the great help on modding and repairing Retro handhelds. I truly enjoy watching your channel. Now, I have a question for you. I have re-shelled a 3DS XL (same version) and i ran into a bit of an issue. I got it all back together trying to be careful with the cables. However now when I turn it on, the blue indicator lights up and then it makes a snapping sound and turns back off. I am assuming that this is a issue with the pesky ribbon cable getting damaged. My research has led me to this conclusion. Since replacement screens and cameras for this are inexpensive, I have decided to order new ones. Do you have any advice on how to install the cables with out the chance of damaging them? Thanks in advanced and keep up the good work…

Great video, as always Elliot. Thank you.
Please could you do a video looking at some different options for modding the screen brightness on an Gameboy Advance SP AGS-001?
I've got a couple of them at home and I'd love to make the screens brighter and better but I don't know which mod to go for. Theres a resister mod (I think they call it the AGS-010 mod). A guy has done a video of it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhR8r7dW_RY&t=144s and he reckons it's comparable to the AGS-101 for brightness. And then there's the AGS-101 screen replacement mod. I'd love to see you do them and get your opinion on which one is best etc.

I took my old 3ds apart a while back, and Im waiting to buy a top screen, but its just in multiple different pieces, so hopefully this should help me piece it all back together, because i know I have all of the screws and stuff all safe, its just the order of putting them back thats annoying..
